yes the 283 (really started with the 265) changed the hot rod days
the 283 powered machines were King until someone arrived with a HEMI
my wife & I had a Fuelie 58 corvette at the same time we had the Fuelie 55 chev a sleeper
no v's on the rear fenders, stock looking wheels & whitewall tires, stock height, just the wistle from the FI it was an awsome ride
