No Mike, they would instal a 3/4 cam but never elongate the timing gear holes to set it with a degree wheel. My boss did a port, polish & relieve on a merc engine put it in a chopped 32. I was to drive it in super stocks but my dad wouldn`t sign a release so my racing career stayed on the street lol. Just as well cause the overheads were born & 283 chevys were king.
