Engine removal questions

I am faced with having to swap out the engine of my '51 Power Wagon and I have a couple questions. Will it be necessary to remove the radiator or can the engine be removed while it is still in place? Also, at what point should decoupling be done in the rear, between the engine block and clutch housing, between the clutch housing and transmission or should the transmission come out with the engine?

I appreciate any suggestions or help.
