Does the pump have a nut at the top of the diaphragm? If so, you have to remove it to remove the diaphragm, spring to get to the pull rod pin clips. If no nut, them usually it's a slot in the pull rod that the lever fits into. Sometimes it is best to just buy new and re-plumb the lines.
