Does the Cummins use a one piece rear main seal,, perhaps the author was thinking seal replacement as well????? Or the pan has to move rearward to get it off. I may find out come warm weather if I do an "in frame" on my 92 CTD. I know I would pull the engine before I pulled the tranny & transfer case on the grass with a floor jack LOL
