I was thinking about making a small flatbed that could be taken off later if I want to go with the original bed. At some point I was thinking I would get the original bed and have it ready to put on if I want to change it at some point. I know of one place that says they can make a new bed that will match the original. But I am in no hurry so I figure I might keep my eyes open for an orginal.
