Mark, my cj5 give me a fit and it was the same type of connection under steering column. I took it apart and brushed it really clean and whala, I had everything working. It only took me a week of pulling my hair out trying to fix it. I done everything under the hood checked all the circuits and all the time it was in that stinking connector. good luck !!
