Can't get truck to start :(

Hi Guys,

Perhaps you can help me with getting my B4 engine to run... now its time to fire up the engine after installing it. Its a later 251 Dodge PW engine. I had kept the engine well oiled by manually turned over the crankshaft and adding a little oild down the plug holes to ensure that the insides remained lubricated.

I am able to crank over the engine but it won't fire and here are the specifics:

No fuel being pumped into carburator! Should I fill up the fuel tank at least 1/2 way. Curriently not a lot of fuel in tank- how much is necessary to facilitate suction)?

-No spark- Any basic distributor since I received the engine from VPW.

Any help sincerely appreciated.
