12v diesel life expectancy

I am about to purchase a very nice 94 2500 with a 12v cummins diesel. It has a 198000 miles on her. Everything about this truck is immaculate. It is a 4x4 automatic. I am curious what the life expectancy is of this particular engine is? Please consider that this truck has been well maintained.
