315ci Hemi with Allison automatic?

I pulled a 315 Hemi motor out of a D600 School bus, It has a Allison 4 speed sutomatic on the back of it. Theres and adapter bellhousing to go from the dodge Poly/hemi pattern to wgat looks like a SAE#3 bellhousing pattern. Can anyone confirm that it is a SAE#3, and tell me anything about the allison?
