the breaker on the headlights works fine. I had a short out once and could hear it clicking away. fixed the short and had lights. I think the paranoia over these old systems is too much sometimes. I have been around these rigs since 85 and never seen one with a burned up harness. I have seen more modern vehicles with burned up harnesses that had fuse blocks though! dont worry...
