one possibilty is that the yoke had been slopping around for some time the key could be worn to a point were its flopping in the key way . i would get a decent puller and go slow if that didnt work heat the yoke slowly .worst case scenario grind the yoke on one side with a mini grinder then cold chiseil the other side split it off good luck keep us posted ! J
