I'm a rookie, never worked on anything this old or big (1946 DPW). I'm trying to get to a leaking brake cylinder, and am having trouble pulling the brake drum off.
I see three large flatheaded screw heads in the drum, located between the wheel studs. Do these need to come out to pull the drum?
If so, how do I get them out when they seem to be rusted in place. I tried WE-40 and a manual impact wrench with hand sledge - no luck. Starting to damage the screw heads.
Is there a trick to this?
Kevin
