I use a 1960 on my 1959 PG and on my 1994 Ford F250. It is an eight footer. I really like it. The only drawbacks I can see are: the older ones are very heavy, the eight foot non-cabover has a pretty small bed. Make sure the jacks work correctly and don't leak. Open the front upper window just a little when you are traveling on dusty roads and it will pressurize the inside and keep dust out (it recommends that in the old manuals). Don't know if that is available on the cabovers.
