took clutch to the dealer this A M ,old howard was on the counter showed him ,he said the clutch release leavers are to high >he gets a new clutch, show the difference in the fingers >but does understand why on mine >we go in the shop he puts pressure plate in press knocks out levers and pins open pressure plate it has 12 springs 4 are in pieces > to his thinking had if i had put wood spaces in between the levers when i pulled out the pressure plate the broken springs would have stayed in place , but when i took off the pressure plate it was relaxed enough to let he bits of broken springs foul up the pressure plate from going back to its orginal position and that had caused the release leavers too go in to deep when i tightened up the pressure plate > also the throw out bearing has only a 5/8 travel >he said when the company switched to ceramic clutches the put in megs strong springs in the pressure plates so lots of leverage in the clutch fork but little travel and little adjustment> any way 478 bucks for clutch and 80 to turn flywheel but it now has a clutch ~J
