george this was so bad > the new clutch came with wooden spacers to "avoid stripping out he threads when compressing the clutch disk at the time of installation of the pplate they just fell out when you tightened the pressure plate > the wooden spacers are in between the release levers (3) and the pressure plate > the problem i had was the pressure plate springs were nfg and fouled up the pressure plate when i was tightening they had became loose when i had taken the pressure plate off when the springs were some what more relaxed the clutch had been in since 1967 and the springs were beat >8 times lucky on the last try > but who says money cant solve most problems ~ J
