Almost forgot, part of my job, entailed making sure that the air doors through the secondary escape route remained functional, and that the path remained at least somewhat clear, to the Con-sil(next mine over) I also worked on some of the man-cars and the motor over there. That was one of the things that was etched in my mind early on though, "how to escape" I think I could still get there if I had to, and it's been eight years since I've been underground.
