OT: forest fire nearby

There's a fire burning about 30 miles from us, down in the Bonny Doon area, just north of Santa Cruz. It doesn't seem as though it will threaten us, but it's a bit too close for comfort, and a reminder of the very real fire danger.

The attached picture is from a story on the SF Chronicle's web site. It's taken from the air, but from the general direction of our house.
