I believe the ideal water injector uses about 10% water to fuel. So unless you are using close to a gallon per tank of gas, your system is not accomplishing anydamnthing.
Not to mention that it doesn't even work at full throttle, when engine vacuum in ZERO. The more throttle you give you engine, the less vapor, when it needs it most.
True water injection uses a pump and a nozzle to spray the water into the intake air stream. Plus control systems that try to maintain the 10% ratio under various higher loads.
All that those vapor systems do is lean the engine slightly at idle. And make fascinating bubbles. Add some goldfish for real entertainment value.
