I'm not positive about this, but I think you can jump a 6 with a 12. Don't the wreckers have 24-volt jump starters? You can't leave them hooked up for long but I *think* you can jump them, can't you? Not sure, not sure.

I decided to Google around before posting this and found a little support for this theory. Check the link below, for examle, and do your own googling for good measure.

I like the idea of a 12-to-6 volt converting jumper cable set (switchable, no doubt). Not sure how big the market would be, however :)
