Jumper Cables

So here is a question that Im sure someone will know the answer to.

My '54 flat fender is still a 6 volt truck. And occassionally it may require a jump start if I forget an leave the lights on while parked and not running. (I know, I lnow.. Just dont do that, right?)..

Anyway, is there a mechanically acceptable way to jump start a 6 volt system off a 12 volt vehicle that may be there to help? I wouldnt want to fry my truck's system.

For all you inventors out there, is there a 12-volt jumper cable with an intrinsic power reducer that allows it to jump a 6 volt unit?
