I thought I needed them to accommodate the trucks flexibility, but the exhaust shop convinced me otherwise. Well looks like I should have stuck to my guns, and had them installed, not for the frame flex, but for the bangs and bumps.
Yea, based on purely the amount of mud (and snow) that collects up and around the transfer case, I had considered a skid plate, and am even more inclined now. Would you do steel, of aluminum?
