I use seperate Battery Minder units on all my batteries that are not used regularly; tractor, lawn tractor, spare battery, etc). Also, on the power wagon restoration project, I have the 6 volt version attached to the battery.
The battery is nearly 6 years old now. Still cranks the flathead very nicely when I start it on a weekly basis.
