A friend of mine I work with commutes. Theres a guy in his town making biodiesel. Selling it for less them real diesel. He is busy and cant seem to make enough of it. Big companies are ordering as much as they can and some want more.
Problem is getting the used grease/cooking oil from restaurants to make the biodiesel. Most outfits already have contracts with big companies to haul away this stuff weekly or monthly from the restaurant. They provide a storage tank for the used cooking oil and then a semi truck shows up and empty is. National By- Products runs the show around my area. Hard to compete with the big company.
