Not all of the flathead 6's had balancers; I had a hard time finding one for my 251. 'The Boys' also said I didn't really need a balancer.
IIRC the 4 bolt crank is an earlier engine. Maybe a 218? I was advised to stay away from the 4 bolt crank (and this would include flywheel). would expect everything else to interchange (check dimensions on pistons/con rods).
