I had met John Lee, editor for Wood Times, at the Iola show a few years ago. He asked me to write an article about my truck and I agreed. I saw the picture of the WW II vintage truck with a woody body which he identified as a Power Wagon. I just dropped him a note saying that this wasn't really a "Power Wagon". Actually the note was to him and I did not intend it to be published. Anyway, the article is done and in his hands. He said he'd schedule it to be published in a couple of months, maybe in two parts because it is fairly long. I will submit it to a more widely available magazine after it has appeared in the Woody Times.
