It can stick to only one side, in only one area. The safest way to unstick it is with a putty knife, otherwise you might break a chunk of the clutch facing off, then you'll have to replace the disc.
But lots of us have done like Don says. I would put mine in first, and alternately goose the throttle with the clutch 'disengaged'. Drive like you are trying to bounce the front end off the ground. But then, I did break an axle once doing that.
