Brian, your experience with American made vehicles is about the same as mine. I switched to Japanese vehicles several years ago. It's refreshing to have a vehicle that doesn't need frequent repairs. Battery, tires, brakes, and shocks - that's about it! I do have a window acting up on my 4 year old SUV, but we've managed to keep it working (I hate to tear into car doors, but I will when necessary).

Someone on this forum once told me that I couldn't use the quality argument anymore, but unfortunately this was incorrect.
