The 1971 parts book list a 12 inch disk for the 283, except for the W300, so I assume it uses an 11 inch, 1x23 splines. In 1972 a 360 was largest engine for a W300, but used the same size disk. Covers are offered in both lever and diaphram styles. If you look on the partsamerica.com site, they list a 12 inch cover/disk kit for the 71 W300 w/383.
