I have two trucks now with cracked exhaust manifolds. I know it's a common problem on the 230s. I'm thinking to take the intake/exhaust manifold assembly off as one unit, grind the crack out, braze it up, and have it milled flat. Any reason this shouldn't work? One concern is that the crack will grow when I heat it, but even if it breaks all the way around, I can still braze it back together.
