I have the bad feeling that these fire conditions - and their resultant conflagrations - are going to be a yearly event, given the ongoing drought in the west.

This sort of thing is not new; I attended a lot of these during my firefighting career. But to have this occur every faal/winter in so. cal. is gonna get real old, real quick...
