This is a hairbrained idea that I think might just work...
Why not install a divorced transfer case backwards between the engine and tranny? The transfer case could then be run in either 1 to 1 or "low" which since it's installed backwards would create overdrive.
It's rated for the torque and obviously wouldn't be shifted when the engine was running.
I think it would work. Anybody tried it?
