Rear Fender question

I wad reading about the three different series beds on the T137 site and have a question.

I have a 57 K6-W300 with the correct third series bed. If I understand correctly, the rear fenders should have the lip turned 90 degrees to the fender?

Does someone have a good picture of how the lip should look on a third or second series rear fender?

The reason I ask is because one of my rear fenders has the lip turned 90 degrees to the fender (horizontal) and the other is vertical.
