This makes me think you are talking about tags that were riveted to door jambs by the factory prior to 1958, and I can not think of an example. Can you refresh my memory?

I would agree that tags were riveted to other places, glove box doors, etc prior to 1958. But I am drawing a blank on an application with tags riveted to the door jamb in 1957 or earlier.
