Drive Line Angle

I'm putting together the crossmember for the Town Wagon, so I'm trying to get the drive line angle set between the transmission and transfer case. On the left the angle locator is on the end of the auto tranny, on the right it's on the PTO shaft of the transfer case.

Do these seem like two logical spots to set the locater and try to match up the angles? How would you do it?
