Is this on one of the newer Fords with a built in controller? My brother has a Ford with a built in controller and complains from time to time that the brakes on our trailers are "all screwed up". The brakes work fine when hooked to mine or Dad's trucks so it is not the trailers in our case.
Might double check the controller.
