I only installed lap belts, but I should really put in shoulder belts - lap belts prevent ejection (the biggest killer), shoulder belts keep your face off the dash at the expense of your clavicle and sternum, a good trade. Just one man's opinion, based on a few years as a firefighter with a busy interstate highway in my first do.
