I am using retractable type in mine. Installing all mounting hardware as I rebuild the cabin. Fabricated shoulder mounts that are bolted through the door pillar, base mount goes in the gap behind the seat at the base of the door frame and bolts through the floor with heavy plate under. Stalks are bolted and plated same way. Need to check local regs as some places require an engineers certificate for mounting. In Oz we need one for retractable type but not ordinary sash type - go figure! Especially when you consider you don't need any for registration of vehicles not fitted originally.
