Thanks for all the help. So what I think I have here is the D500-XXXX is a 315 Hemi out of a Dodge D500.
And the VT548 is a 57 354 Hemi (or Poly) out of a BIG Dodge truck or bus.

That makes me happy about the 354, now if I bore it .060 and find a 392 crank I'll have my 392 :-)
