Last year I was on a two lane road in Jersey. Just as I past a dump truck that was traveling in the opposite direction, I heard a loud crack.
I did not even see the rock.
How many people would I have endangered if I tried to turn around and catch up to the dump truck?
Even if I did catch the truck, how can I prove it was a rock that cracked the shield?
I am not yet sure of NJ laws regarding this, but I would not just take a persons accusations. Nor should a court. Proof is needed. Turn the tables around. You would not want to be falsely accused.
By the way, Need a windshield for a 96 F-350.
Mark still in NH, heading back to Jersey soon.
