Yes I'm useing the Delco altinator from VPW.
1)Red wire on the altenator goes to amp guage.
2)White wire goes to Ign. with a "diod" installed. NOTE IS THIS DIOD BUILT INTO THE WHITE WIRE LEAD???????? IT LOOKS LIKE A VERY SMALL INLINE FUSE????

by pass the old voltage regulator all to gether????
