Sandblaster snap-on

I'm looking at a brand new Snap-on ya436 sandblaster that was discontinued in 1999. The guy wants $1500. It has a 3'-0 by 2'-0 by roughly 16" high compartment. It also uses a siphon system. Is this a good buy or should I get a more modern unit. I don't do much blasting yet, this would be for small parts and odds and ends around the house. What do think?
