I'm working on a 251 rebuild, and have been trying to remove the old rusty water distribution tube to replace it with a brass one. I've been soaking the thing in penetrating oil for several weeks, got a hard steel hook in to the first slot and pulled until the damn thing broke off at the slot. So now I have 5 inches less tube in the block and a real problem getting to the rest of it. I've tryed poking in the head bolt holes, no help. Any suggestions from the collective wisdom out there?
