I have not tried the XZLs but ran the XLs for quite a few years. They were terrible in the snow. my bald bias firestones did better on ice then the XLs did. I had to air them down to 22 PSI in any ice or snow. the XZL may be much different in compound and may work better. The speed increase with the 11.00s was a nice improvement though. I was running a 230 that was balanced with shaved head and big cam. I could run 60 all day.
