You can regrind the cam for $75 to $100 as stated below but you will get the same profile. To get more of a high performance 3/4 grind it takes regrinding the base circle to get more lift and duration. I did one last year and it was $200.

The 251 in my truck is a hot rod compared to the stock 230. Acceleration is far better and it climbs the grades better without as much down shifting. Whenever I crest a steep grade, not having down shifted, I thank my cam!
