Wow, Roger, sorry to hear about your finger. It is funny how "attached" to these trucks we can become.
Several years about I was loading a tilt trailer and it came down unexpectedly trapping my foot. I had just loaded a tractor on it, my foot was jamming the lifting mechanism and it took me over 30 minutes to free myself. I would have to say it was the longest 30 mintues of my life. In addition, I was lucky enough to be wearing reebok which saved my toe. If I had my standard steel toed boots on, the toe cap would have severed my toes...
