Well, if you've ever removed the front axle assembly with wheels and all on a ffpw, you know that the front wheels tend to flop around after removal. Between the wheel and axle housing is not a good place to have a finger if the wheel decides to flop over. A crushed bone in the end of my left index finger and a few stitches is the result. Needless to say it hurt, especially after being stuck there for a while with no way to get it out. A finger looks weird when it's only about 1/8" thick. Doc thinks he can save it. At least it wasn't my trigger finger!
I'm sure you guys can share some dumb moves as well.
So far I've got about $9k in the truck and restoration and one trip to the emergency room. Gonna be interesting sand blasting this weekend with a splint.
