Ever watch those Nissan commerical about the origins of Suv's and Pick up trucks.
The idiot sitting in the chair telling the a wonderful yet incorrect story of both.
1st the Pickup truck. They might have been the first with a compact pickup.
Than again the small Dodge was of cours the mighty RAM, make me wonder how powerful a POWER WAGON really is (taken I never had a chance to marvel at one in person)
My point - crew caps were almost always available if you needed a Family truck. And they didn't take away from cargo bed either.
2nd the SUV. Anyone who know MOPAR know this a blantant lie.
SUV's were not 60's pickup truck with a bed cover. Ticks me off everytime I here him speack he nows nothing of past auto design
POWER WAGONS had today's SUV's design back in the 50's and even in the 40's.
Not to mention the originator of the species is JEEP, with the WAGONEER.
I love my IMPERIALS but I might Skip one for a passanger grade POWER WAGON. Heck you can throw a HEMI into one of them too.
I hope for a quick release of the project POWER WAGON chrysler has designed.
I hoped you a least enjoyed my comments
Sincerely Mike
