You can run it just fine on straight gasoline. I've done it several times with mine when gas was $.30-$.40 cheaper than diesel. If you like, throw a couple gallons of filtered used motor oil, gear oil, or fryer grease in with the gas, but really it'll run just as well on gas, including stale old gas, as on diesel, the only problem being you'll have to crank it for maybe 5 seconds instead of half a second in sub-zero weather.
