On my 1954 FFPW the angle iron is 25.75" long.

The vertical side is beveled at the passenger end. The cut is a diagonal cut that starts at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical sides that runs 2" along the horizontal, and is 2.50" along the cut.

The driver end is cut square.
